Description
1 Large 20th century multi colored Boulder OPAL example. This highly prized natural and very durable variety of Opal gemstones comes from the Cretaceous rocks of Queensland Australia. These opals are generally found with thin veins of colorful opal embedded in a natural host rock typically a brown ironstone as witnessed by the back image of this button where the shank was set. This is an incredibly gorgeous and rare example for button collectors. This is an especially nice specimen and would add nicely to any collection. A truly RARE find with such fire in the stone.
