ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kuts Volodymyr Vladyslavovich - was born on January 11, 1960, in the city of Kerch, Crimea. In 1983 he graduated from the Crimean Art School. He studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute (professor's workshop A. Lopukhov). Since 1987 he has taken part in all-Ukrainian exhibitions (about 30 exhibitions), international exhibitions, and festivals. Since 1990 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2003 he became a Knight of the Order of St. Stanislaus, England. He has the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. The works are in the Cherkasy Art Museum; Sevastopol Art Museum; Cultural and Historical Center "Sevastopol"; the Fisherman’s Harbor Gallery of Contemporary Art, Otaru, Japan; at the Washington Art Gallery, Tokyo, Japan; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Paris, France; Rome, the Vatican and many private collections.
