ABOUT THE ARTIST: Sogoyan Vira Sogomonivna – was born on the 27th of December, 1925 in Artvin City, Turkey. Ukrainian artist, and painter. Author of thematic paintings, landscapes, and still lifes. In 1928 he moved to the Soviet Union, to Krasnodar city. She studied at Krasnodar Art Studio and Kyiv State Art Institute. Mentors: Shovkunenko A.A., Kostetsky V.N., Grigoriev S.A., Shtilman I.N. Member of the Union of Artists of USSR. Since 1952, she participated in city, republican, and all-union art exhibitions. Artist’s works are presented in museums and gallery collections in Ukraine and abroad. Vira Sogomonivna died in 1986.
