ABOUT THE ARTIST: Dobrzhansky Victor Mykhaylovich – was born on the 15th of October, 1907 in Yasnograd village, Zhytomyr region. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. Teachers: Svetlitsky G.P. and Shtilman I.M. Since 1949 he has participated in exhibitions. Worked as a mentor at the Kyiv Art Institute from 1949 to 1952. He painted mostly landscapes. In 1972, in Kyiv, he posthumously held a solo exhibition, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the birth of the artist. The paintings are exhibited in many museums and private collections. Viktor Mikhailovich died on the 5th of July, 1964.
