ABOUT THE ARTIST: Shurupov Kostyantin Oleksiyovych – was born on 6 of March 1910 in Kharkiv. He studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. Teacher: Fedir Krichevsky. He participated in the Second World War. Worked in the field of landscape, still life, and figurative art. Since 1947 he has taken part in republican and All-Union exhibitions. Major works: "Spring over the Dnipro" (1961); "Near the Dnipro" (1963); "With bread in salt" (1965). The paintings are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 1985.
