ABOUT THE ARTIST: Volnenko Olexandr Anatolievich – was born on 23th of March, 1941 in Kharkiv. Son of Volnenko Anatoly Nikonovich. He studied at T. Shevchenko Republican Art School and Kyiv State Art Institute. Mentors: Budnikov G., Trokhimenko K., Khmelko M., Shtilman I., Chichkan L. Since 1969 he has worked as a stage designer at the Kyiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. From 1972 to 1975 he worked as a mentor at the T. Shevchenko Republican Art School and from 1975-1979 in the Kyiv State Art Institute. In 1979 he became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. His works are presented in the funds of the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine and private collections.
