ABOUT THE ARTIST: Bespalov Ivan Mykolaevich – was born on September 11, 1908 in Kamen-on-Obi, Altai Territory. He graduated from the Omsk Art and Pedagogical College in 1932, the Odessa Art College in 1937, and the Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in Leningrad in 1946. Specialty teachers: Y. Bershadsky, O. Shovkunenko, L. Muchnik, V. Oreshnikov, Y. Neprintseva, A. Segal, M. Bobyshev. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He worked as a teacher of special disciplines of painting, in the department of the Odessa Art College from 1946-1975. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, foreign since 1965. The artist died on May 2, 1995.
