I have 350 items listed on this site, and this cat is my favorite! It was love at first sight! Mind you, my home is decorated with Erte's, iron and glass furniture, well you get the idea.

So some very talented person went into the woods, cut down a tree, put holes in the bottom of the cut edge, attached it to a device so he could cut, whittle, shave, sand and whatever else was necessary to create this amazing piece of art. My guess is that he/she did this more than a hundred years ago. The patina is beautiful, complete with age cracks as shown in the photos.

Weight is a hefty 12 lbs. Stands 20 1/4" high, 14" wide measured from toe to tail, 8" deep, width to outside of each ear is 6 1/2".

This stunning cat will make a great addition to any home. Even looks great sitting under my Erte' litho (lol)
