Irene Miller Stein was born in Denver, Colorado in 1894 and died in Aurora, Colorado in 2000 at the age of 106. Irene Stein was a professional artist well into her 90s. She worked in many different media and styles, from art-deco in the 1920s and 1930s to modern, abstract sculptures, and computer- generated art in the 1970s and 1980s.
Stein (1894-2000) was a noted Denver modernist artist.
