These porcelain statues of the Guanyin Goddess of compassion and mercy are stunning. The colors, even with their age, are vibrant. The movement in the robes is delightful. They are unmarked so we are unsure of the exact age and identification.
The details are eye catching, from the lotus blossoms to the gold necklaces.
Finding a pair of these chinoiserie pieces is rare . Each of the pair opposes the other so the pair is perfect for a mantle or console table. Please see all pictures as the pieces are older and have minor flaws.
