When french classicism and Italian Baroque mix it gives a stunning design, this set of four french Louis XV , period chairs from the 1700 hundreds , ( when the top is join with a horizontal ligne and the dowels are visible on the side of the feet , amount others signs it gives you a good idea of age ) upholster with the famous Corone Fortuny design in green. The chairs were probably painted originally and brought back to their natural color that match perfectly the tender green of the Fortuny textile . Note how cleverly the textile was used in order to show at it best the design front and back , also note how elegant the sculpture of the wood is in the flowers and the details of the lines all over , that gives the most successful elegance ,the chairs have a large base and are very confortable ,see size in description .This style blends in any interior , play the contrast with classicisme and modern and it will be splendid
