Offered is an antique Pennsylvania mammy / rocking bench. This bench comes out of Lancaster county Pa. and appears to be of Amish make. It is in very good condition and includes the original removable front rail which would have been used to keep a baby or young child from rolling off the bench while rocking. It features a solid plank seat, hand turned stiles and legs and a beautiful old patina. As with all pieces of preowned furniture this rocking mammy bench shows some signs of wear and use commensurate with its age.
