Very rare wine stopper made of porcelain that depicts an officer or nobleman. His uniform is blue and red with gilt accents. You have to love his curlicues on his forehead and sideburns. Hand-painted with a delicate hand. Makers mark is on the side of the stopper but I have been unable to find another stopper like this. This item was originally purchased in Germany and has a German price tag on the bottom. Very colorful and in perfect condition. It would make a great conversation piece!
