Offered is an antique blind door cupboard directly out of Pennsylvania's' Amish heartland of Lancaster county. This cupboard is in excellent condition and is ready for any room needing extra storage and a touch of country. It is one piece with two paneled doors, one door over another. A crown molding cornice tops the cupboard. The construction is pine and is most likely farm made. The raised panels on the inside of the doors were obviously hand chamfered and a hand run across the top of the cabinet can feel the undulations left by the hand plane that smoothed the boards. The handmade square nails are clearly visible across the back. As with any piece of preowned furniture it does show evidence of use commensurate with its age but for a piece that shows in its construction to be well over 150 years old it is in great shape.
