Stamped L'Etoile Fantuzzi – Made in Chile, this kettle is part of the mid-20th-century Chilean copper export movement that brought handcrafted copperware into North American and European kitchens.

Chile has long been one of the world's leading copper producers, and during the 1960s–1970s, decorative and functional copper pieces were widely exported. Fantuzzi-branded pieces appear in this period and are consistently associated with Chilean manufacture.
