Description

Swedish Empire console table in carved, polychrome and gilt wood, early 20th century. Rectangular marble top in a low white, frieze decorated with leaves and legs with winged Egyptian sphinxes topped with bovine feet. This type of console, typical of the empire period in Sweden, is smaller in size than those of the same period in France, it represents a beautiful cabinet work.
