Jiang Tie Feng was an elder statesman of the now famous Yunnan School and Heavy Color Movement, which revolutionized Chinese painting in the 1980 s.A professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and the creator of the national monument Stone Forest in the Great Hall of the People, Tian-an-men Square.Jiang Tie Feng is also the leading subject of scholarly surveys of the contemporary revolution in Chinese painting.
