This pair of Jacobean carved oak side chairs was probably part of a set of dining chairs long ago. Our guess is that they come from England or Scotland. They feature the popular claw and ball feet and the top rail carving is beautiful. The back splat and seat are done in a fabric by P. Kaufmann "Brissac" in the amber color way.

Condition Notes: These chairs are in great shape for their age. The spring seats have been reinforced and the vintage fabric is newly applied. Previously some repairs had been made including added stretchers as these do not look to be original. The repairs have to be searched for, and have rendered the chairs very sturdy.
