Vintage quilt top ready for the batting and backing to complete. Most of the hours have been put in!

Excellent quality machine-stitched patchwork hand-made quilt top in lovely mid-29th century vintage knits.

The red solid contrasts splendidly with the floral and geometrics all balancing on a soft cream with an art deco alternating motif of swirl and rectangle.

Washable and no ironing needed with knits.
Knit fabric has a little stretch-finish with hand-tie, long arm or perhaps stitch in the ditch.

This quilt top along with several others being offered were made by a lovely woman who went by the nickname "˜Doc' living up to age 93. While she dabbled in painting and pottery the bulk of her art was quilting. She flourished in producing wonderfully unique color combinations and patterns. The textiles used in mid-20th century are now vintage offering the opportunity to turn these beauties into a completed quilt for use or display.
