Vintage quilted top ready for the batting and backing to complete. Most of the hours have been put in!

Soft greens, pinks, blues in this vintage floral patchwork quilt top. The floral material is beautifully set off on a backdrop of rose-mauve pink outlined in soft green.

Approximately measures 70 long x 69 wide. Bed or couch throw. Additional border can be added to size to bed as desired.

This quilt top along with several others being offered were made by a lovely woman who went by the nickname "˜Doc' living up to age 93. While she dabbled in painting and pottery the bulk of her art was quilting. She flourished in producing wonderfully unique color combinations and patterns. The textiles used in mid-20th century are now vintage offering the opportunity to turn these beauties into a completed quilt for use or display.

Condition: Machine-stitched by hand. This is a quilt top only. Finish as a quilt sized for your desire or as display. As a vintage handmade item stitching/quilt blocks may not be perfectly aligned as is natural in items made by hand.
