Antique ornate Victorian gilded solid oak frame with plaster flowers, leaves, in bas relief artfully decorating the corners. Contrasting background mimicking bark continuing organic feel. Excellent design elements with varied textures. The repetitive alternating circles and florals literally frame the picture

Satin braided cord for hanging.
The note on the back reads:
This picture frame is from a picture of my mother. I had Mr. Pankratz of Gr(?) frame it for me. Don would like to have the frame (mirror). (Donald H. Gustafson Lafayette, LA) -Pearl
P.S.I do not know Pearl but I did attempt to honor her note and did a search for Don. I did not locate him by location and the D.H.G's who did come up were passed away. It is wonderful to have her mirrored frame (originally her mother's) being cared for and enjoyed into the future.
