Late 20th Century Vintage Kissing Swans Wood Carved Basket

Description

We love it for its simple form that conveys such a striking impression. Swans always bring a romantic feeling.
The handle is sturdy and bowl is generous. The sides have nice feather carving. Made from one solid piece of wood.
Makes a wonderful fruit basket!

As an artist from the region, we were extremely selective in the items we chose to collect - only the most distinctive pieces with an authentic and timeless design sensibility.

These were bought in Hong Kong while living there in the "˜90's, shipped to the U.S. by top international movers in 2003 and kept in temperature controlled storage ever since.
