Original Henri Dupre Mid-Century Impressionist oil painting on canvas. This stunning work features a serene riverside garden scene with figures under a parasol, sailboats on the water, and a distant cityscape in the background. The piece is characterized by Dupre's signature free-flowing and serene style, utilizing a beautiful palette of pastel teal, green, and blue. It is housed in a grandiose, ornate gold gilded frame with intricate carved detailing. The reverse of the painting includes an artist biography label and original stretcher bars. This mid-century piece is in excellent vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear to the frame as shown in the photos.
