This RCBS Competition Seating Die set is designed for the .30-06 Springfield caliber and is contained within a factory molded grey plastic storage case. The set features a precision micrometer-adjustable seating die with a black finish and white index markings graduated from 0 to 20, intended for precise control over bullet seating depth. Key markings transcribed from the case label include RCBS COMP SEATER .30-06, P/N: 37738, and the instruction to Use Shell Holder #3. The exterior of the case lid is embossed with the RCBS manufacturer logo. The set includes the main seating die body, a long expander and decapping rod assembly, a shell holder, and several internal components such as the seating stem and guide bushing. The main seating die retains a majority of its black finish with thinning and silvering visible on the knurled edges. One internal metal component is heavily oxidized with significant surface rust. The expander and decapping rod assembly and other small steel parts show light use and minor surface discoloration. The micrometer adjustment mechanism appears to function smoothly. The grey plastic case is structurally sound but displays various scuffs, scratches, and surface dirt.
