Group of ephemera related to Albert Einstein (1879-1955) and, in particular, his original draft statement regarding the Korean War and Einstein's hope that negotiations led by the United Nations would result in an independent Korea, dated December 15, 1950, edited by hand in red pencil and black ballpoint pen through, signed ?A. Einstein? to LR. Accompanying the original statement are several other pieces of related ephemera, including letters to and from potential signatories, a photocopy of a letter Gluck sent to the NYT explaining the story behind Einstein?s statement, and various news clippings. <br
