Vintage Bakelite Pendant Glass Beaded Necklace, 28", 1940's-1970's. This is a mix of ages - the pendant is a large nearly 1.5" wide and 1" tall - round. It is honey colored and tested with Semichrome. The pendant is appx. 1940's. The chain is a mostly black glass beadednecklace with squat disc beads that are appx. 6mm wide and faceted white glass beads between the sections of black beads - they are appx 3.5mm and then brick colored 5.5mm barrel beads. This is strong on a blue filament cord. These are a mix of ages with the glass beads newer and the pendant older. The bakelite bead has a decorage disc on the bottom with a black glass seed bead and metal washer on top. It is possible this piece is a knob or something repurposed into a pendant - very interesting neclace with a tribal look too. It is not signed or marked. Good to very good condition.
