Condition Report:
modelled as Orpheus, the mythological poet and musician, standing barefoot beside a tree stump, a puce drape flowing over his shoulders and hips, a laurel wreath in his flowing hair, holding a shell decorated lyre, the naturalistic mound base applied with flowering foliage and paint in polychrome

Condition Report:
Firing cracks to the base. Rubbing to the decoration. Chips to the glaze. Nibbles to the fingers and toes. Chips to the flowers. Some scuff and areas where the decoration has bene removed on the cloak and base. One are under the cloak on the back on the leg where there is an area of loss that has been glazed over - possible fault pre firing. Minor scratches and marks to the surface.
