Condition Report:
in the manner of Derby, each modelled as an elegant gallant and companion seated upon a rococo scroll-moulded base enriched in gilt, before flowering bocage and scrolling supports terminating in twin foliate nozzles with puce-edged drip-pans, the gentleman dressed in a pink hat and turquoise-lined cloak over a floral waistcoat and pale breeches, seated beside a hound, holding a bird, the lady wearing a feathered headdress and floral-decorated skirt, seated with a birdcage and attended by a lamb, the scrolling branches applied with abundant flowers and foliage, the whole painted in bright polychrome enamels and heightened throughout in gilt
