Eagle: 38cm wide, 31cm deep, 9cm high, Monogrammed: 36.5cm wide, 29cm deep, 9cm high

Condition Report:
each of rectangular form, painted in gilt with an oval cartouche against a diapered ground, one example monogrammed 'NBE', the other with a double headed eagle, the former interior with seven lidded compartments, the latter with six lidded compartments and ten associated trays, similarly decorated

Condition Report:
Knocks and losses to both; the monogrammed example with a split to the lid, and evident underneath. Losses to the corners and the interior boxes with losses underneath. The eagle example's cover with losses and cracking to the lacquer. The boxes and trays inside do not quite fit suggesting the trays are associated. Surface scratches and losses to gilding.
