Title: Oil painting Monastery Kovalenko Ivan Mikhailovich Description: NoKoval 20In "Monastery" by Ukrainian artist Kovalenko Ivan, the artist skillfully captures a tranquil village scene dominated by the serene presence of a white monastery in the background. The soft, light tones used for the sky and the monastery evoke a feeling of peacefulness and spirituality, while the surrounding homes and trees create a sense of community and connection with nature. The contrast between the solid architecture of the monastery and the more loosely painted foreground houses reflects the blending of sacred and everyday life. Kovalenko likely sought to express the harmony between spiritual sanctuaries and rural settings, where the monastery stands as a symbol of faith and reflection, rooted in the natural, earthly world. The use of light and shadows, especially on the monastery's spire, enhances the sense of warmth and calm, suggesting a late afternoon when the sun begins to soften, inviting contemplation. This piece communicates a reverence for both spiritual and rural life, with the monastery as a peaceful guardian over the village.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Monastery"* ARTISTS: Kovalenko Ivan Mikhailovich* SIZE: 50x60 cm/'19.68x23.62 inches' * HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this productAbout the artist: Born on March 20, 1953, in the city of Pidgorodn, Dnipropetrovsk region.
