Title: Oil painting Come on, it's not me Yulia Lihina Description: No.Lih 35The oil painting titled "Come on, it's not me" presents an emotionally charged scene between two figures rendered with striking expressionism. The painting is dominated by strong contrasts of shadow and light, with a bold use of blues and blacks that set a dramatic tone. On the left, a figure with widened, imploring eyes and raised eyebrows appears to be in the midst of a fervent plea or explanation. The person's mouth is open as if caught mid-sentence, and their hand is raised in a gesture that suggests a mix of surprise and urgency. The figure on the right, cloaked in a dark garment with a distinctive blue emblem, exudes a sense of authority and skepticism. This person's eyes are wide and focused, with a direct and intense gaze that seems to pierce through the canvas. The set of their mouth and the rigid stance imply disbelief or suspicion. The interaction between the two is palpable; there is an implied narrative of accusation and defense that is open to interpretation. The title, "Come on, it's not me," hints at a story of mistaken identity, denial, or misjudgment, inviting viewers to speculate about the circumstances surrounding this moment. The background is intentionally vague, providing no context to the conversation, which further amplifies the intensity of the interaction. The artist uses light to sculpt the figures and create a sense of volume and presence, allowing the emotional content to come to the fore. This painting captures a snapshot of human interaction, rich with tension and ambiguity, leaving the story ultimately unresolved and open-ended.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Come on, it's not me"* ARTISTS: Yulia Lihina* SIZE: 55x80 cm/'21.65x31.49 inches' * MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this productAbout the artist: Yulia Lihina, born on November 10, 1984 in Kharkov, Ukraine, was a very restless and stubborn child.
