Art Nouveau Repousse Peacock Alligator Czech Glass Brooch, 3" by 2.5" . Straight edge on the sides and concaved on the top and the bottom with a center pink Czech glass Stone that is appx. 24mm by 15mm with the bezel. Open work around the stone where repoussed peacocks are beside the top and bottom edges of the stone - two on each side and on the left and right are what look like alligators, one on each side. The brooch is a rectangular overall inshape with the straight and concave edges and cut corners. At each corner there is a raised accent mound and the overall surface has a textured sort of organic look to it. This has a c-clasp with some stamped floral designs visible on the undercarriage. It is not marked or signed and is a heavy brass well-made brooch that in it's day was top quality. The pink stones has light wear but still, for 100 or more of age, this is an amazing piece.
