Sukhothai style Buddha, unsure of dating. It is thinly cast, though I've had a number of authentic 13th to 14thC Thai Buddhas that were very thinly cast, in both Utong and Sukhothai styles. I have been told bronze was scarce during that period. Some of the Buddhas have had wafer-thin walls, and during that period of scarce bronze, other revered Buddhas had their bases removed and melted down and used to make other Buddha images. Not a refined casting, but classic and powerful and nicly sculpted. Looks to be a true wax cast one of a kind.
