Antique 19th Century Primitive Chinese Rice Bucket With Handle & Stand

Description

A 19th century Chinese rice bucket with stand and iron handle. This wooden bucket adopts a round conical shape reinforced by iron bands.

The bucket features an iron ring for hanging and an 6" high wooden stand into which its conical bottom fits. Showcasing a dark lacquer with patina, this bucket was used for carrying rice.

This Chinese 19th century rice bucket with iron handle and stand would be an exotic decorative item in most homes and could be used for storage or perhaps as a planter.
