CONDITION NOTES

Rich gilt finish with authentic age wear throughout — the red-toned bole layer shows through in rubbed areas where the gold has naturally thinned. This is exactly the patina collectors and designers seek: it cannot be replicated on new pieces. Structurally solid and display-ready. Hanging wire on back is a later addition. Any wear is shown clearly in photos.
