American Sheraton tiger maple two-drawer stand, early 19th century, featuring a richly figured tiger maple case with pronounced vertical flame grain to the sides and drawer fronts. The rectangular top with molded edge above two graduated drawers fitted with turned wooden knobs, the lower drawer displaying particularly strong figuring. Supported by slender, turned legs with ring and baluster elements, consistent with rural American Sheraton forms. Secondary woods and drawer construction visible, with hand-cut dovetails confirming period workmanship. 29 in H x 21.5 in W x 16 in D
