Five Titles, All Signed. 1) Make Way for Ducklings. New York: The Viking Press, 1941 [i.e. ca. 1988]. Later printing, tall quarto; signed and inscribed by the author, "For Betty" in black ink on the title; bound in dark green pictorial boards with the Caldecott award sticker on the front, illustrated endpapers (narrow strip of dampstaining to outer and lower edges throughout, scattered foxing; rubbed, soiling, corners bumped, narrow dampstain and minor foxing to endpapers); 12 x 9 in.
2) Homer Price. New York: The Viking Press, 1943 [i.e. ca. 1988]. Octavo; signed and inscribed, "For Betty Dalton" in black ink on the title; bound in russet paper-covered boards; in the publisher's illustrated jacket with a price of "$13.95" on front flap (jacket stained, especially at verso, sunning, one short tear at spine panel, minor edge wear; a few tiny stains; fading at board edges, extremities lightly bumped, spotting to block edges, very minor foxing to endpapers); 9 x 6 in.
3) Centerburg Tales. New York: The Viking Press, 1951 [i.e. ca. 1975]. Octavo; signed by the author in blue ink on the title page; bound in publisher's pictorial boards (lacking jacket?; two corner creases; few small surfaces losses to boards, extremities bumped, minor, faint spotting to endpapers); 9 x 6 ½ in.
4) One Morning in Maine. New York: The Viking Press, 1952 [i.e. ca. 1974]. Tall quarto; signed and inscribed "For Betty Dalton" in black ink on the title; bound in publisher's pictorial boards, illustrated endpapers (lacking jacket; pale foxing, mostly at free endpaper versos and opposite leaves; backstrip detached and laid-in at front, surface losses, particularly at rear board and edges, corners exposed, rear endpapers upside down); 12 x 8 ½ in.

Tall quarto; signed and inscribed, "For Carolyn" in blue ink on the title; bound in blue cloth blind stamped with moon and stars, spine lettered in yellow; in the unclipped publisher's dust jacket with the Caldecott medal sticker to front panel, priced "$6.95" on front flap (two long tears to front panel, couple shorter edge-tears, few spots, minor surface losses; occasional minor foxing; minor stains to lower board, corners bumped, extremities rubbed, very small split to front joint, spotting to upper block edge, pale offsetting to endpapers); 12 x 9 in.
