mounted on a parcel-gilt stand, the stand with a fitted compass, raised on paw feet, marked 'ISMAIL'

Condition Report:
Brass is in generally good condition, albeit with some tarnishing and abrasions. One part of mast is missing. The other part of the mast has snapped off from the clip fixture, meaning it is not affixed to anything. A railing of the gallery border has become detached form ball finial. The stand and feet are structurally stable and secure.
