Description

Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth, Conn., pillar & scroll shelf clock, mahogany and mahogany veneered case, painted wood dial, Terry type hands, thirty hour, time and strike weight driven wood movement

Condition

Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in good condition has some remains of the original finish and has couple veneer chips and rough spots on the door edge, half round molded edge on the right side has age cracks, both scroll ears have broken off and repaired, but will need further attention, original painted dial has some loss to the gold decoration in the center and someone has added brass channels on both sides to correct a warp, original hands, tablet has been repainted in place. pendulum bob is not original, ACCESSORIES: Pendulum Bob, Two Cast Iron Weights, Three Brass Finials, Winding Key, circa 1825
