This CVA Hunterbolt is a bolt-action muzzleloading rifle chambered for .50 caliber black powder. It is configured with a blued steel barrel and receiver mounted into a synthetic stock featuring a Realtree Hardwoods camouflage pattern with textured grip panels. The rifle is equipped with adjustable fiber-optic iron sights, a knurled bolt handle, and includes an under-barrel ramrod. A black ventilated rubber recoil pad is fitted to the buttstock to manage recoil. Verbatim markings on the barrel include BPI-CONNECTICUT VALLEY ARMS Inc. HUNTERBOLT and MADE IN SPAIN Black Powder Only .50 Cal. 1:32 TWIST Before Use. Additional markings specify a proof of 700Kp/cm2 and the serial number 61-13-052923-00. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounts. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The rifle presents in good used condition with some visible signs of field use. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver shows minor surface oxidation and light freckling in several areas. The synthetic stock's camouflage coating is mostly intact, exhibiting light wear and small scuffs along the edges and high-contact points. The bore condition was not internally inspected. The fiber-optic sight inserts are present and appear functional. The bolt moves smoothly and the trigger has a crisp release.
