Fabulous set of vintage 1950's ceramic hand painted chess pieces, with a hand made wood board from the same period! Absolutely a stunning set, really well done pieces, standing from 3" to 4 1/4" in height.

The board measures 18 1/2" by 19 1/2" wide, and the pieces range from 3" tall (pawn) to 4 1/4" tall (king) and are 1 3/8" in diameter. The set is in fantastic vintage condition as shown, with age appropriate wear, no chips or cracks to any of the pieces that I can see. The board has a few spots of wear, some minor joint separation, etc.. but nothing that effects stability or playability as shown.
