Fabulous vintage oil on canvas landscape of a lovely wooded scene with a river, likely first quarter of the 20th century. Great colors and brush control as you can see, really a lovely piece. Well framed. It is signed J.E. Clark and on the stretcher as well 'Mrs. J.E. Clark - 1217 Madison Ave'.

It is in very good vintage condition, with age appropriate wear. Minor gesso loss to the frame in the corners as shown. It measures 33 3/4" wide by 21 3/4" tall, with a canvas size of 30 1/4" by 18".
