Originally created by Torii Kiyonaga (1752–1815) between 1772 and 1781, this piece captures the refined beauty and movement characteristic of Edo-period ukiyo-e. This is believed to be a later restrike, not an original 18th-century striking, but it retains the charm and artistry of Kiyonaga's celebrated work with beautiful colors.
