Robert Samick is an American artist. He has been inspired by nature and travel and has been influenced by many artists. Some of them are Winslow Homer, Andrew Wyeth, Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Frida Kahlo, Albert Bierstadt, J. M. W. Turner, and Childe Hassam. Traveling has enriched his color and form sensitivity. He is interested in the interplay of light, color and shape.
