Brackets are hand-painted and decorated and feature a marine character, part human, part sea creature, and adorned with sweeping fins and curling tails. The polychrome glazes include deep cobalt blues, golden yellows, and earthy greens, enhancing the sculptural depth and Baroque-inspired theatricality of the figures. On reverse side of each bracket is a hand-painted rooster and the number 3.
