Beautoful and rare matched pair of heavy, handcrafted wrought iron table bases featuring bold scrollwork and an original antiqued gilt finish with darkened undertones. These sculptural bases date to the late 1960s–1970s and reflect a refined blend of Hollywood Regency and Mediterranean / Spanish Revival design influences.

The bases are substantial and architectural, with dramatic C-scroll legs joined by an X-form stretcher that provides both visual balance and structural strength. The finish shows intentional tonal variation, with darker iron visible in recessed areas, giving depth and character consistent with age and hand-applied patination, and perfectly balancing the fanciful curves.
