Hildegard Rath german emigrant to the U.S. in the 40s' became a significant female artist working in NYC. Owner and Director of Painting at the European School of Art. Owned by over 800 public and private collections worldwide. This work, with its' novel title and suggestive imagery is one of her works in serigraphy which she taught. Signed and dated Hildegard Rath 1958 To Andrea Bettina and the above title. as shown in my detailed photos. The size is 14.25" wide and 18" tall as framed. The image is 9" by 12.5", Original frame, opened, cleaned, and closed, with acid-free lining.
