Early 20th Century Carved Wooden Beaux Arts Sconces - A Pair

Description

Matching pair of carved wooden sconces with three candlelight arms each. They are carved as bowtied shashes with oak leaf clusters at the center over tasseled ends. beautiful Beaux-Arts period designs from France or Italy. Natural dark wooden finish with greyed gesso shadows. Unwired presently but in a form to allow outside surface wiring. The size is 31.5" tall and 17" wide. The projection is 11.5" deep. Very good condition and will hang on a hook in the back.
