Antique Persian Isfahan rug, was hand knotted in Iran of 100% natural wool on a cotton foundation. This rug is 100+ years old, has medium to low wool piles and is in excellent condition for its’ age, though it is distressed in several areas. Beautiful colors and made with excellent quality. The artist’s name is woven into the rug which is a sign of very high quality. This rug was acquired from a Virginia estate. There are 2 holes in the rug and 2-3 inches were removed from one end of the rug, probably due to exceptional wear to that end. Cleaned and ready to be enjoyed.
