Very pretty exemple of Black Forest carving for this lovely jewelry box , very well made can be open in different ways , 5 compartments will give you lots of storage , has is original key as well , the carving like often is extremely elegant detailed and realist , stunning in the flowers and the leaves, upto the feels that are ornate , the size is great to be used anywhere in the house , as a decorative item or for what it was , even the color is very pleasant worm , honey , black forest as a tendancy to be sometime on the very black side , just a beautiful piece , for a collector or just for somebody that likes special little pieces of art
